Welcome to my studio!  I teach all ages and all levels from beginner to advanced (ages 6 to 106!) from my studio on Long Island, NY.  Whether embarking on a long term journey from beginner to professional, tuning up for an upcoming college audition or competition, or just enhancing your skills and knowledge, I am happy to tailor lessons to meet your needs.  Teaching is my passion;  my only requirement is that you come eager to learn.  My doctorate in child psychology along with a music degree gives me the experience and ability to teach to different learning styles as each student learns differently.  It’s my goal to teach you in a manner that works best for you.

During each summer,  students, former students, colleagues and all local flutists are invited to participate in Summer Choir, which I organize and conduct.  We meet for approximately 8 weeks and have a celebratory recital in August.  It has been extraordinarily successful!

I encourage all of my students to participate in local orchestras, bands, recitals, and music camps and help them find performing venues.  I am also available to teach live, on-line lessons, via FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, etc.
